True Walleye Hunters was the theme for this week, our guests enjoyed what was thought to be one of the best walleye bites in recent history!
Several of guests devoted their time to fishing Parker Lake and said that the walleye were the best in size and numbers that they had seen in many years and felt that this was a direct result of our conservation policy of releasing all walleyes 18 inches and over. We definitely believe that this has a positive effect and would like to say thanks to everyone for their support!
The Jim England group has been fishing at EFL for many years and said that this was one the best years for catching walleye that he has experienced since coming to the lodge, his group indicated that they had caught and released over 600 walleye during their stay, these guys were true “Walleye Hunters!”
