Week One, it just doesn’t get much better than this!

As we prepared for our first week of guests we were a little concerned as the camp was still in need of some finishing touches. We finished just in the nick of time as our first guests were ready and here for a great week of fishing.
As we arrived at the landing and saw all of those familiar faces we realized what a blessing it is to be able to share a week with people who are not just friends but are truly part of the Eagle Falls Lodge family! How cool it is to have such special guests every week to share the Eagle Falls Lodge experience with… it just doesn’t get much better than this!
Thanks to everyone during our first week for your patience and understanding, we truly appreciate your support of the lodge.
All smiles after a great week at Eagle Falls Lodge
Fishing was a little slow as the late thaw had water temperatures in the mid-’40s, not finding fish in their normal areas definitely presented some challenges, but as you can see from the pictures a lot of great fish were caught and released during the week. Water temperatures have started to increase to the mid-50s and low 60s and the fish were slowly starting to move into familiar waters.
