It’s hard to believe that in a few days it will be February 1st… time has flown by. Just a mere 123 days until The Holiski’s kick off the 2017 season. As the season fast approaches we are trying to have things run as smoothly as possible. We have a few reminders: Deposits are due by February 1st so please get them in ASAP so we can confirm your week. Also we have added the option of paying your deposit through the website, but please note the week and name of your group in the description box when paying with PayPal. Also if mailing deposits please include your group name and week so we can keep track of everyone’s deposits. Also as always if you have any questions or comments about your upcoming trip, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We want to apologize for not having the blog and website fully updated yet. It’s a work in process. Now that we have our feet on the ground expect to see more blog posts and information on the website very soon. We hope we can paint a picture of our unique family for all our guests to see.
For future posts expect to see an author’s signature as several authors will be contributing to the blog’s content in the future. We hope in this way everyone will get to share their special moments at Eagle Falls!
So for now I will introduce myself, the author of this week’s blog post. I am Connor Holiski. At just nineteen years old, I am the grandson of Stan and Jan Holiski. I live in Dalhart, Texas, but I attend school at the University of Denver in Colorado. I am currently pursuing a degree in Chemistry with the hopes of one day operating my own nuclear reactor. I believe nuclear energy is the key to our energy needs and one day will power the World. When I’m not studying I enjoy traveling and photography. I’m most looking forward to the amazing photo opportunites and memories I will make in the next few years at Eagle Falls Lodge.
I will be at the lodge this summer after I finish my spring quarter at college. I will be designing new merchandise and marketing materials for future seasons and I can’t wait for you to see what I have in store for the lodge.

FYI you have a guest who has a excellent company that designs T shirt, cups you name it and has been fishing Eagle Falls now for six consecutive years.His company is Best Expressions in Phoenix AZ. His original fishing shirts are sold not only in the states but internationally. I am sure during our stay starting June 17 he would be happy to sit down with you and provide some insight to getting the best values and what to watch out for. Half of the group there that week will be wearing many of his designs. His name is Gary Grimes and he is a first rate individual besides being a dedicated fisherman.
