We have all experienced or heard the proverbial phrase, “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade,” which is precisely what we did!

The COVID-19 pandemic, border closure, and the Red Lake forest fire all made for what we would refer to as a bunch of lemons, so we decided to make the best of the situation and work on multiple projects to prepare the lodge for the 2021 season.

Jan had plenty of Country Time Lemonade, and all we had to do is get to work and that we did painting, building and repairing decks and boardwalks, completing phase one of our water systems, tearing out carpet, and of course, keeping the camp looking great!

Enjoy the pictures, take care, and get ready for an exciting 2021 season!

The new water tower, no more climbing that 50-foot ladder to clean and perform maintenance. This is step one of our plan to update our water system for the entire camp.
We also built an addition on to the diesel shed to house our new backup generator, complete with relay switch, and ready to go in case of an emergency.
