A big thank you to everyone who participated in our boat naming bracket! I know I certainly had fun logging in each day to vote. How satisfying was it to see the current percentages pop up immediately after submitting your votes? Travis and I would alternate on who would vote early in the day and who would vote right before 10pm, so we could catch a glimpse of how the votes were coming in. I’m sure it will shock you to know that he very much enjoyed all of the statistical analysis involved with this process.

Congrats to Tom from Dayton, Ohio who submitted this idea. He very generously requested that we keep the gift card and use it to purchase more lures to hand out to new guests and kids that come up to the lodge. How nice is that? Make sure to look for this boat out on Red Lake next time you are up at camp.

This was a lot of fun to put together! We received a lot of really creative ideas, which we will hold on to incase we add more boats to our fleet. Can you think of any more contests we should have?
