The ice-out on Red Lake was officially recorded on May 13th. We remain here in Colorado ( as we are considered nonessential workers), but our bags are packed and ready to head north once the border is opened. The latest information is that the border closure will be extended until June 21st and then it will be re-evaluated at that time to the possibility of opening up for non-essential travelers or extending the closure.
We have reached out to all of the guests affected by the border closure which has resulted in the cancellation of all weeks from May 23 – June 26 and will continue the process as the season progresses.
Our plan remains the same, Canada or Bust!
