We arrived safely and have been busy cleaning, mowing, and preparing to open the camp for our Canadian guests. As you can see by the pictures the camp just needed a little TLC! Our 14-day quarantine is almost over and has been very uneventful other than maintenance around camp.
Special “Thanks” to Bob and Joann Aikens for all of their help in gathering supplies to assist us during our quarantine and to Red Lake Marine for taking care of our barge prior to our arrival, this made for a seamless transition into self-quarantine.
As most of you know by now the Canadian government extended the border closure another 30 days until August 21st, thus ending any hope of opening the camp to our U.S. guests. We have contacted everyone and will be providing updates via the blog throughout the summer. Please feel free to call us at the lodge if you have any questions, concerns or just to chat.
