Weeks 13 and 14 combined last years group from the Hillsboro Baptist Church (The Pike Slayers) and a new group from the Heritage Christian Union Church. Several members of the Heritage Christian Union Church had come as guests of the Hillsboro group last year and had such a wonderful experience that they decided to form their own group and return to the lodge for another week of devotion, fishing, and fun!
During their stay, both groups under the guidance of “Pike Fisherman Extraordinaire Travis Ison “caught huge numbers of pike in the slot limit and multiple fish qualifying for our Catch and Release Replica Program.
Thanks to both groups for making our weeks so enjoyable, one of the most rewarding parts of owning and operating the lodge is being able to share in the experience of our guests and to know just how special each and everyone is, from the first time fisherman to the seasoned angler. You are all Special to us!
