Sorry for the delay in keeping the blog updated, we have had some technical difficulties with our internet and it is back up and running. After a busy off week, we returned to our eighth week of the season with a camp full of excited guests eager to catch some fish and enjoy the beautiful Canadian wilderness.
The fishing remained good on Parker Lake with a lot eater size walleye and pike and a few Master Angler smallmouth bass, fishing on Red Lake was a little more challenging as the fish were starting to transition to deeper and cooler water. Everyone caught fish using bottom bouncers, Lindy rigs, and crawlers harnesses tipped with either a night crawler or a leech. The fish were transitioning to deeper waters and being caught in depths of 8 – 12 feet.
