It’s getting warmer outside and some of you early season visitors will likely start to think about packing. We are pleased to announce we have bolstered our life jacket supply at the lodge. We now have over 40 life jackets in a wide variety of sizes. So if you have a favorite jacket that fits perfect by all means bring it along. But if you are looking to lighten your load just a bit, you’ll be welcome to use one of ours for free all week. Just a reminder it is a law to have an approved life jacket per person in your boat at all times. We also have a wide selection of seat cushions available for free use. While they are comfortable to sit on during your fishing exploits, they do NOT count as the required life jacket needed for the boat. Although not required by law, we highly recommend kids wear their life jackets at all times and everyone wears their life jacket when traveling at high speeds. Over 90% of drowning accidents take place when the victim is not wearing a life jacket so strapping one on significantly lowers your risk.
