We are excited to announce that the Canadian border will open to U.S. guests starting on August 9th under specific requirements. Please note that the United States extension of the border closure does not affect your ability to enter Canada, return to the U.S., or plan your trip to Eagle Falls Lodge.
We are truly disappointed in the announcement from the U.S. government extending the border closure for another thirty days as this only creates additional confusion and has resulted in many guests canceling their trips to the lodge.
Our plans are to open beginning the week of 8/14/21 and extend our season an extra week into September in hopes of allowing our guests to book a beautiful fall vacation at the lodge.
Due to the pandemic and border confusion, we received several cancellations which have created a great opportunity to book a trip to the lodge this season. We will be offering these openings on a first-come basis as we are limiting the weekly group size to between 14 and 16 guests. This should allow us to ease back into the day-to-day operation of the lodge and to still be able to meet any social distancing requirements or group limits put forth by the Canadian government.
The Canadian government has announced that it will allow travelers into Canada on August 9th that meet the following requirements. Please click here for information from the Canadian Border Agency.
Please make sure to review these requirements prior to your arrival at the border, make sure to have all required documents, proof of vaccine, and negative covid test, etc.
Anyone interested in booking a trip should call us as soon as possible as these spots will be filled on a first come first serve basis!! Be sure to check under the Availability tab to see when we have openings!
Thanks again for your continued support! We remain optimistic and are committed to opening the lodge the week of August 14th and look forward to seeing everyone.
