We started off the season with a phenomenal group. A nice mix of veterans and newbies were all good sports as mother nature threw everything at us over the course of the week. I’m not sure anyone had any dry clothes left by the third day or so. I think we were all a little blinded this morning and shocked to see the sun shining. It had been several days!
Despite such challenges, these guys caught some nice fish while testing their rain gear.
Here is Mike with a nice 39″ muskie. Doesn’t it have cool markings?
Norman’s 23″ walleye on Parker:
Travis’ 23″ walleye on Red Lake:
Jesse had the lead on big northern for the season up until Thursday with this 39″ fish:
But Paul edged him out when he caught this 40″ on Parker Thursday afternoon.
Sean caught this 23″ walleye on Red:
And this 37″ northern also!
Mike is currently in the lead for walleye with this 25″ off or Red.
Right now the fish to beat are:
Walleye – 25″
Northern – 40″
Muskie – 39″
Can’t wait to see what next week’s group catches!
