The end of the season always catches us off guard it seems. This morning we dropped off our last group of guests. CAN YOU FREAKING BELIEVE IT? Fifteen weeks have gone by. Poof, just like that. I would be lying if I said Travis and I haven’t been looking forward to the quiet and ease of schedule that accompanies the end of the season, but even so we are kind of shocked when it arrives. Kind of like a “what do we do now?” feeling. I’m sure we will figure it out.
After I dropped off the guys, I got a nice run in and was able to enjoy my Friday coffee at Tim Hortons. Not a bad start to my Friday, right?
We do have some guys fishing the Red Lake Fall Classic Walleye Tournament this weekend, so technically there are guests here through the weekend. However, I’m going to go ahead and count the 2015 season as done!
This is the first time that the end of our season has coincided with the tournament, so we will be able to head into town tomorrow afternoon to watch all the weigh-in action. I’m excited! And of course, we will be cheering on Kyle and Phil as they head out tomorrow and Sunday morning. Good luck guys! We will post results of how they did at the end of the weekend, so check back in. Until then, I’ll be enjoying views like this a little more over the next few weeks before we head south.
Patiently waiting to hear how those boys did! 🙂
Can’t wait to see how those boys did! 🙂
