A new pit stop to check out in Vermillion Bay – Comfort Table Bakery

Its no secret around here that Travis and I love sweet treats.  Well, imagine how happy we were when we spotted the newly opened Comfort Table Bakery in Vermillion Bay on our way up this spring!

If you are coming from Dryden, you go just past the turn for highway 105 towards Red Lake and it will be on your right.  Its before you get to Bobby’s Bait shop or Busters Barbecue.  (Sidenote: Travis LOVES alliteration.  That last sentence probably sent him over the edge.)

The Comfort Table Bakery was delicious you guys!  Its totally unexpected.  Kind of like Busters (read more about Busters in THIS post).  They bake lots of delicious smelling bread.  You can get french press coffee – which is super fancy and far from the percolated coffee I’ve been chugging for the last few months.  We grabbed a butter tart and some cookies for the road when we headed up this spring.  Both were amazing and didn’t last long.  Like maybe 10 miles.  I’m sorry, kilometers.  Whatever.  You know what I mean.

But seriously, you should stop here on your way up (or down).  And if its on the way up I probably won’t object if you get something to share with me!
